Description
Designed in 1952 and produced by the prestigious Søborg Møbelfabrik, this early Model 145 bureau is a masterful example of Børge Mogensen’s functionalist approach to design.
Crafted from a sophisticated combination of warm teak and light oak, it represents a timeless piece of Danish furniture makers.
The bureau features a clever drop-down desk that reveals a well-organized interior, including two pull-out drawers on the top left, two letter holders, and three shelves on the right. Below, three spacious pull-out drawers—adorned with Mogensen’s signature recessed wooden handles—provide additional practical storage.
This piece is in very good vintage condition, displaying only minor, character-filled signs of age-related wear that honor its history.
